We use Wrens Abruzzi heritage rye flour, grown in Eagle Springs, North Carolina, to make our naturally leavened rye bread. We love the flour's nuttiness, which plays well with the natural sweetness of our rye starter. We think the bread is bold and hearty - the way honest to goodness rye bread should be.
